What prospective Cybercab owners should know

How participation works, what a fixed monthly payment means and what to agree before a campaign reaches your vehicle.

Register the vehicle situation you actually have

Current owners, prospective purchasers and fleet operators can register interest with Taxi Boards. Your application should distinguish vehicles available now from vehicles you hope to deploy later. Expected fleet size and timing help us understand potential supply; they do not establish current inventory. Registration is an expression of interest in advertising participation, not a vehicle-purchase service or a promise that a campaign will be available.

  • State whether you own a vehicle, are purchasing or are still planning.
  • Separate confirmed fleet size from future plans.
  • Identify the expected operating market and the earliest realistic availability.
  • Describe whether you prefer a partial decal, a larger treatment or a discussion of options.

Understand the fixed monthly arrangement

An eligible participating owner receives an agreed fixed monthly payment for carrying an approved campaign. The owner agreement defines that payment and the responsibilities attached to it. Joining the network does not create an entitlement to compensation, and no amount or campaign frequency is guaranteed. Advertiser commercial agreements remain confidential. Evaluate a proposed opportunity using the owner terms actually offered, including any time the vehicle must be available for installation or removal.

  • The agreed monthly payment and when payments are due.
  • The campaign start, end and any extension process.
  • How a partial month, interruption or early end would be handled.
  • Which operating and reporting obligations you would accept.

Confirm the fit before saying yes

Market, vehicle availability, operating patterns and the proposed format all affect campaign suitability. A vehicle that will be unavailable for part of the campaign is different from one committed for the entire period. Discuss planned maintenance or changes in operating market before accepting. The creative, format, duration and owner obligations should be agreed before installation; application preferences help identify an opportunity but do not replace that review.

Keep vehicle eligibility separate from interest

Interest in advertising does not establish that a particular vehicle or treatment is eligible. Any applicable vehicle, financing, insurance and operating requirements need to be reviewed before installation. Taxi Boards does not claim that Tesla has approved exterior Cybercab advertisements. Required permissions and permitted surfaces must be confirmed for the proposed opportunity. An owner application should therefore describe your situation accurately without treating a future campaign as assured.

Know what happens when the vehicle goes in

Taxi Boards coordinates professional installation and removal through vetted local partners. Before accepting a campaign, establish where the vehicle will go, how much access is required and who communicates schedule changes. Documenting the vehicle’s condition and checking the completed treatment create a clearer record for everyone. The agreement should also explain removal and the process for raising a condition or damage concern; do not assume those details are covered just because the monthly payment is agreed.

  • Installation location, appointment timing and vehicle access.
  • Surface preparation and the condition record before work begins.
  • Who checks the finished treatment and resolves an installation concern.
  • Instructions for care and the contact for a damaged or lifting decal.
  • Removal arrangements and the process for reviewing the vehicle afterward.

Keep the network informed as your plans change

If your fleet size, deployment date or operating market changes, contact Taxi Boards to update the application. Once an opportunity is under discussion, report anything that could affect availability before committing. Accurate information helps avoid matching a campaign to vehicles that will not be ready. Joining early gives Taxi Boards a clearer picture of interest; it does not guarantee priority, acceptance or a particular payment.
